英語のクラスメートで朝鮮映画を普及する活動をしている人がいる。
その人によると、朝鮮人に対してほとんどの人が嫌悪感を感じていることに対して残念だと言う。
戦争中、日本が朝鮮に対してひどい仕打ちをしたのだから、朝鮮の人が反日感情を抱くのはわかるが、
その逆がどうしても理解できないという。
私は、拉致問題も大きいし、現在の北朝鮮の国家体制を見れば理由もないだろう、と思ったが。
だけれど、最近本当にいろいろなことがわからない。
何が事実で、何が正しくて、どっちの言い分が正しいのか。
靖国問題やら、戦争中のいわゆる戦争犯罪人と呼ばれる人たちのことやら、郵政民有化のことやら、
事実はどうであったのか、その事件の背景にある真の思惑は何だったのか、
事実を知りえることは不可能なのではないかと思う。
だから何が正しいかを意見することもできない。
むしろいろいろな意見を広く知ることができたらと思う。
それで、良い悪いを判断することができなくてもよいだろう、と思う。
少なくとも、一方的に流れてきた情報を鵜呑みにして、すぐに「これが正しい」と意見をしてしまうほうが危険だと思った。

A classmate from my English discussion course is working for promoting North Korean Movies among Japanese. She is very disappointed with the fact that most Japanese people have bad feeling toward North Korea. From her point of view, it is natural that Korean people show hatred toward Japanese, for Japan had invaded Korea during the WWⅡ and abused the Korean people. But she told me she could not understand the Japanese antipathy toward Korean.
I could understand it if you only see the present tyranny by Kim Jong-il and the abduction issue remained unresolved.
These days, I simply don’t know what is the truth, or what is correct or not.
There are so many controversial things argued in the papers or media, such as Yasukuni shrine issue, War criminals issues during the WWⅡ, or Privatization of Japan Post. But what is the truth? So many people says so many things. What is a real motive or an aim behind each incident?
I think it impossible to know the true facts.
And it also is impossible to make clear opinion of which is good or what is right.
I would rather learn many opinions from various point of view.
You don’t have to achieve to a conclusion of which is good or bad.
Do not come to a conclusion too fast with one-sided information. That is more dangerous.
